As we gear up for the grand opening of South Lake Tahoe, players who wish to participate are required to send their cars to specific launchpad properties. These sites are essential for the city's initial access, serving as the only parking spots for players' vehicles until they acquire their own property within the city. These properties will open up to travel in the next 24 hours. After the opening, players minting properties in Tahoe will gain the ability to send their vehicles to their own properties.
The grand opening of South Lake Tahoe is scheduled for Thursday, March 7th at 9am PT, with the full city available for minting at launch. This opening will bring with it ~13,000 properties in 19 new neighborhoods! Approximately 13% of properties will be designated as FSA.
Tahoe marks the first resort town in Upland, and as such, players should come with the expectation that property prices will be on the higher side.

On Thursday, March 14th, at 9 AM PT, we’ll reveal Collections that are a part of this opening. As collections may alter a property's price, make sure to double-check your marketplace properties before the reveal to ensure you don’t sell them below the collection-modified value. It may be safer to temporarily remove them from the marketplace before the information is public and the Collections are revealed.

Note: As a reminder, if we see signs that the city release experience is sub-optimal, we will take immediate action and lock any unminted properties. If required, this may be followed by a brief maintenance period.

These passes are tradeable with a snapshot on March 15th between 9-10 AM PT for all pass holders. Once the snapshot is taken players will be emailed the details of their properties and will be able to travel to Tahoe via a car to mint them.
The Minting Deadline is Monday, March 18th at 9 AM PT for pass holders. Following the deadline, any unminted properties will be opened for public minting, with the unique townhouse building option available for an additional 24 hours. The deadline to construct this unique building is March 19th at 9 AM PT.
