Attention Uplanders! Summer has arrived, and it's the perfect opportunity to pack your bags and set off on an exhilarating Roadtrip through Upland! We’re excited to announce the Summer Roadtrip Challenge, where players can participate in various travel and minting activities to win rewards such as Badges, Terminals, and entries into the exclusive LAX Theme Building Landmark Drawing.
In addition to this challenge, we’re also holding a Terminal Sale for those eager to acquire a Terminal. Registration opens on Monday, July 17th, at 8 AM PT, and the sale officially begins on Tuesday, July 18th, at 9 AM PT.
Note: Registration and sale of these terminals will only be available on the web version of the Upland Store.
During the Summer Roadtrip Challenge, players can engage in the 24-Hour Summer Roadtrip activities and the Three-Day Summer Roadtrip activities to earn rewards and entries for the LAX Theme Building Landmark Drawing.
The 24-Hour Summer Roadtrip Activities will begin on Tuesday, July 18th, at 9 AM PT and end on Wednesday, July 19th, at 9 AM PT. Below are the three different 24-hour Roadtrip activities players can participate in.
In this 24-Hour Summer Roadtrip activity, players need to collect Souvenirs from various Upland cities. Every purchase of an Unminted Property or any item from any player-run Metaventure in Upland counts as one Souvenir. The top 10 players who collect the most Souvenirs will be eligible for rewards.
1st to 3rd Place will win a Terminal, Summer Roadtrip Souvenir Badge, and two entries into the LAX Theme Building Landmark Drawing.
4th to 10th Place will win one entry into the LAX Theme Building Landmark Drawing.
In this 24-Hour Summer Roadtrip activity, players will race to be among the top three fastest players to mint one property in three different cities and in two different countries.
The top three players who complete this activity the fastest will win a Terminal, Summer Roadtrip Fastest Traveler Badge, and two entries into the LAX Theme Building Landmark Drawing.
Even if you're not among the top three, completing the Minting Race activity will earn you one entry into the LAX Theme Building Landmark Drawing.
Players will compete to mint the most properties in Upland during the 24-Hour Summer Roadtrip activity period. This activity's main requirement is that players mint a property in at least three different cities in Upland.
1st to 3rd Place will win a Terminal, the Summer Roadtrip Minter Badge, and two entries into the LAX Theme Building Landmark Drawing.
4th to 25th Place will win one entry into the LAX Theme Building Landmark Drawing.
In the Three-Day Summer Roadtrip Activities, players will aim to complete three different activities between Tuesday, July 18th, at 9 AM PT and Friday, July 21st, at 9 AM PT to receive additional entries into the LAX Theme Building Landmark Drawing. Below are the details for each activity:
Players who travel to every city in Upland (including Lusail) will receive four entries into the LAX Theme Building Landmark Drawing and the Summer Roadtrip World Traveler Badge.
Players who ride a train out of every train terminal in Upland will receive four entries into the LAX Theme Building Landmark Drawing and the Summer Roadtrip Train Enthusiast Badge.
Players who fly out of every airport in Upland will receive four entries into the LAX Theme Building Landmark Drawing and the Summer Roadtrip Jetsetter Enthusiast Badge.
Once the Summer Roadtrip Challenge concludes, we will draw the winner of the LAX Theme Building. Check out the details below for the LAX Theme Building that will be awarded to one lucky Uplander.
